Custom Alloy Axles

We offer custom rear 1541 alloy ales, custom front 4340 chromoly axles for almost every differential. Our MD alloy axles are machined here in our own shop with CNC controls to ensure the best quality product available nationwidee. We can also re-spline stock axles for low horse power applications as well.

At Mitchell Differential we specialize in building custom performance differentials such as Dana 44, Dana 60, and Ford 9" for 4 x 4, Drag Race, Street Rod, industrial applications. Our differentials are each custom built with only the best products and are built ready to rumble.

Full Float Kits

Our Mitchell Differential Full Floater Conversion Kit. with 4140 alloy steel hubs and spindles, and 1541 alloy steel axle shafts is the perfect upgrade for those vehicle owners who want the best. The MD Full Float Kit is not only available for most Jeep, Ford, GM, Dodge, and Internatational rear diff's, but is also available for many custom-built rear ends.

Driveshafts

When it comes to custom driveshafts, we have over 50 years of combined experience. We offer steel driveshafts, aluminum driveshafts, and Xtend spline driveshafts.

Spindles

Our line of MD Full Float Replacement Spindles are an excellent option for shops that have the capacity to do a spindle replacement themselves. Our MD Spindles are machined for a precision fit on our state of the art CNC machines and individually checked for proper bearing fit. We offer several replacement spindles for most of the popular full float differentials such as DAna 60, 70 and 80, GM 10.5", AAM 11.5", and Ford 10.25" and 10.5"

Third members and dropouts

Dropout housings and pinion supports are found in differentials with removable center sections such as the popular Ford 9", Ford 8", Chrysler 8.75", and more. Aftermarket dropouts and pinion supports feature stronger materials and larger bearings for higher strength. Both are available in nodular iron for maximum strength and durability, or heavy duty aluminum for reduced weight. All are available with custom gear ratio, positraction/locker, and spline count options.
